Tour De Nidderdale

Take a ‘Tour De Nidderdale’ anytime you like by following these guides!

See all the highlights of Nidderdale on a route that has been designed with the experienced cyclist in mind and can be tackled in a single ride or split into two loops or can be enjoyed just as much by car or motorbike.

Experience a combination of sweeping valleys, pretty villages, steep hills which open ups to magnificent views of the open moors and fells!

The Green Jersey route takes in the lower part of Nidderdale, offering a gentle rolling profile with plenty of opportunity for mashing the pedals and keeping up a strong pace (should you so desire).

The Red, or Polka dot Route is the more serious, slowly climbing the valleyside above Pateley Bridge is just the first of several climbing challenges, this route has a number of climbs and can be quite exposed as it crosses the moors.

Together the routes make the quite serious Yellow Jersey route covering all of Nidderdale, top to bottom.
