National award for local lady – Margaret Kendrew
Congratulations to Margaret Kendrew on being awarded the national title of ‘Pharmacy Assistant of the Year’ at the ‘Pharmacy Business Awards’ held in London. At the award ceremony on Wednesday 22nd October, Margaret received a standing ovation from all present which lasted a number of minutes on being presented with her award.
So well deserved as Margaret has just completed 50 years working in Pateley Bridge Pharmacy and continues to work there as well as her many voluntary roles in the community. We must also congratulate the owner of the pharmacy Samina Khan who put Margaret forward for this prestigious award and who is an asset to the community of Pateley Bridge in Nidderdale.
The Chamber of Trade congratulates Margaret, Sam and the rest of the team at Pateley Bridge Pharmacy and we look forward to them continuing to serve the community (flu jabs are available from this chemist – please support this local community business).
