The Coldstones Cut
To the west of Pateley Bridge on Greenhow Hill is the recently opened Coldstones Cut.
Created by the artist Andrew Sabin, the Coldstones Cut is Yorkshire’s latest and largest free visitor attraction.
A massive construction which visitors can freely walk through and explore, the sculpture overlooks the huge working Coldstones Quarry and offers spectacular views over the scenery of Nidderdale in the Yorkshire Dales
Parking is provided at the Toft Gate Lime Kiln car park from which the footpath climbs 40 metres over 500 metres up to the sculpture. Suitable footwear and clothing should be worn as the location is exposed to the elements and the weather can be harsh and change suddenly.
