Bewerley Park Outdoor Centre
A traditional outdoor centre for the modern world
Situated in heart of the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, Bewerley Park Centre is ideally located. We have been providing high quality outdoor learning, using real outdoor activities in the natural environment, for over 70 years. Within a 20 minute drive of the centre you can find yourself biking through Swinsty Woods, swimming through Blayhaw Ghyll or scaling the heights of Brimham Rocks.
Activities available include rock climbing, hill walking, camping, sailing, orienteering, canoeing and kayaking, caving, ropes course, gorge walking, mountain biking and skiing.
Facilities include a library of reference books, a students’ common room, assembly hall with stage, surgery and first aid facilities, students’ shop, games field, camping area, ropes and adventure course. Bewerley Park Centre also offers permanent orienteering courses, classrooms and study areas for environmental follow up work, audio/visual aid equipment, car parking and an outdoor heated swimming pool.
