Taste the natural fruits of the countryside with our Traditional Fruit Wines, produced in the vaulted cellars of a 19th century flax mill on the banks of the River Nidd, in the village of Glasshouses, approximately 1 mile riverside walk from Pateley Bridge.

The Mill's impressive Water Turbine is housed in the flagged floor of the Wine Tasting Room. Here through-out the day, visitors can sample the different varieties of wines, including Blackberry & Gooseberry, along with the ever popular Elderflower and Elderberry.

On Fridays and Saturdays at 11.45hrs, we have Winery Tours, providing visitors with an opportunity to see for themselves how we produce our Country Wines. The cost, including tasting is £2.50 per head.

The former Steam Engine Room has been converted into a Tearoom in a truly idyllic setting. Here you can watch Dippers and Wagtails and perhaps catch the blue flash of the Kingfisher - in-fact the location has been featured several times on TV.

Our menu is thoughtful and distinctive, using the best of local produce to reflect our region.

Everything is home-made - Soups and Hot Dishes are served with our own Cheese, Herb and Nut Bread. The cake and sweet selection varies daily - Diana Crighton, in her book of English Excursions, Northern Journey, calls us the "Treasure House of Baking".
