We are a Family Butchers of thirty-four years standing, situated at the top of Pateley Bridge High Street

We are one of the few remaining Family Butchers in the world where all the products made in the bakehouse and sold in the shop contain all our own meat and are prepared to our own recipes.

We supply the best meat and pastry products at competitive prices combined with excellent service. We offer a postal delivery service for our many customers from outside the area.

We offer a full range of fresh meats, award-winning black pudding, bacon, poultry, game, venison, cooked meats. We have an extensive range of marinated and glazed meats and barbeque friendly burgers of 5 different flavours plus gluten-free kebabs, coated chicken breasts and steaks.

Lynn welcomes you with a cheery greeting and is our chief organiser, making sure everything in our 22ft refrigerated display cabinet is in perfect condition. She is also the one to speak to if you would like to order one of our hampers.

Mike prides himself on an array of sausages including leek and ginger, tomato, blue stilton & broccoli, chicken & herb, pork, beef, and not forgetting the renowned Dales and gluten-free.

Ian, Paul and Chris can be relied upon to come up with a brilliant suggestion for that special dinner party. The cushion of lamb with a variety of stuffings including garlic & herb, apricot & onion is always a winner, whilst the Crown Prince Chicken filled with a mixture of meat & garlic or cajun and the Chicken Breast Parcels stuffed with leek & cheese, smoked bacon & tomato puree & basil are delicious.

Michelle, Lesley, Jayne, Elaine and Sarah are our team of bakers in our very busy bakehouse. Their prize-winning pork pies are famous from Cornwall to the Isle of Muck. Speciality pork pies include blue stilton, apple, chutney, sage & onion stuffing and cranberry. Hand-raised stand pies are available in a variety of sizes. The steak & kidney, chicken, turkey & ham and shepherds pies are made individually plate-size for a quick, easy meal.

Our wide variety of pastry products also include sausage rolls, beef & onion pies, pizza rolls, potato, cheese, onion or cornish pasties, apple & sausage-meat & stuffing strudels. We make our own chicken-liver pate using a full bottle of sherry and plenty of garlic.
