Dovenor House is a quiet bed and breakfast and tea room in Middlesmoor in the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

It is situated on the edge of Middlesmoor village and enjoys an uninterrupted view of Nidderdale and Gouthwaite Reservoir.

The house has two double en suite bedrooms and one twin room, all with hotwater and tea and coffee making facilities.

Both the dining room (where afternoon teas are served) and the visitors sitting/TV room have log fires.  The house is also centrally heated. A packed lunch service is available and there are several excellent places for evening meals within easy reach.

The tea rooms are open daily, serving delicious home-made cakes and scones.  On fine days, tea can be served outside to take advantage of the superb views.

Dovenor House is an excellent base for sightseeing in the Dales, walking or riding in the superb surrounding countryside, or bird watching at the reservoir. The Nidderdale Way long distance footpath passes nearby and a public footpath passes outside the door.

The village of Middlesmoor is approximately twenty miles from the spa town of Harrogate and the historic city of Ripon with its beautiful Minster.

The charge for bed and full English or vegetarian breakfast (using local produce wherever possible) is from £18 per person per night.
