Based in the picturesque Dales village of Pateley Bridge, in the heart of Nidderdale, David South is a family run business involved in retailing period furniture and offering a full upholstery and restoration service. The company's High Street retail outlet showcases items of furniture which have been upholstered. There are also decorative items, and a comprehensive range of fabrics for upholstery, loose covers, antique upholstery and curtains.
A large storeroom close to the shop is packed full of furniture suitable for restoration and re-upholstery. With over 100 items always available, and a search facility, we can usually supply that all important piece.
Complementary to the period and antique furniture, we offer a new and bespoke furniture making service - made in our workshops to mainly traditional styles - under the name of Caz Designs, which includes:

leather samples and specify your own levels of comfort and
final appearance, involving you in a process that culminates in

Boshier wing chair has either 6'' or 9'' legs, offering a comfortable
and supportive seat on coil springs and duck feather filled seat
cushion. The D'Arcy 2 or 3 seater (or bigger if you wish!) sofa
is available with a double drop arm feature. 
Whichever
