‘The Cottage’ - Bewerley

A warm welcome awaits you at this nicely furnished Holiday Cottage which sleeps 2-3 people. The terraced cottages date back at least 300 years and were once part of Bewerley Hall Estate.

Well-behaved pets are welcome, free of charge. Sorry – no children/babies.

The accommodation consists of:

Living room with large fireplace and beamed ceiling.

Separate kitchen with dining area.

Large bedroom with king-size bed (sofa-bed in living room for 3rd guest).

• Newly refurbished bathroom with 3 piece bathroom suite and shower over bath.
• Heating by electric storage heaters plus open fire downstairs if required.
• Private parking space at rear. Alternative parking nearby on road.
• Small gardens front and back with garden furniture.

This part of Bewerley is a small, quiet hamlet but it is only a 10 minute walk (or short drive) into the nearby market town of Pateley Bridge where you will find shops, banks, cafes, restaurants, pubs, etc. You can explore many local footpaths and travel further afield by car. There is a regular bus service to/from Harrogate.

Availability: The Cottage is available for full weeks (7 nights, start day Saturday) or short breaks from 31st March 2012.

Prices range from £250 - £400 per week and £165 - £300 for a 3 or 4 night short break, depending on Season. Shorter or longer breaks are also available.

Please note that Public Holiday and School Holiday dates tend to be popular and book up quickly. However an early enquiry is more likely to enable you to secure a booking, whatever the date.

Facilities provided include:

• Bed linen, towels and electricity usage are included in the cost. A small starter supply of fuel for the open fire is provided (further supply available locally).
• Small flat screen TV/DVD, VCR, CD/Radio, with selection of DVDs, Video Tapes and CDs. You can, of course, bring your own DVDs, Videos and CDs to use.
• Electric oven (with grill) and separate hob, microwave, fridge (no freezer or ice box), toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board, hairdryer.
• Books and small selection of games.
• Information on use of The Cottage facilities and places to eat, visit, etc.

• Arrival time is from 2.30 p.m. and departure by 10 a.m.
• The Cottage is cleaned and prepared for guests on arrival and guests are asked to leave the property in a clean and tidy condition on departure.
• Any breakages or damage must be paid for.
• Dogs should not be left unattended in the property.
• Please bring your own pet baskets/blankets.
• Pets should not be allowed upstairs or on the furniture. If they are likely to sit/lie on furniture please bring covers.
• For pets other than dogs, please enquire.

Bookings must be made at least one week in advance.

A deposit is required if booked more than 8 weeks in advance and balance payable at least 8 weeks before your stay. Full payment is required if booked 8 weeks or less before your stay.

Payment by cheque or cash (I do not have credit or debit card facilities).
